   The road five kilometers that connects the city of Messolongi with islet Tourlida ideal for delightful walks and podilatovoltes.

   The wetland National Park Lagoons Messolonghi Aitolikou, lower reaches of the estuary of Evinos and Acheloos and Echinades islands, is one of the largest in the Mediterranean and one of the most important protected by the RAMSAR Convention our country. It is located at the westernmost tip of mainland Greece.

   Just a few minutes away from the marina, you will come to find the best kept secret of Europe: the natural mud spa of Agia Triada (the Holy Three - Entities) near the historic islet of Kleisova.

  The seawater in the region has increased salinity due to the microclimate of the area. Swimming in this water causes significant relief to aching muscles and joints. The mud is black, homogeneous, with good plasticity and perfect affinity on the skin, elements that make it ready for application. After the application, the skin is left perfectly cleansed and tender.

   In Etoliko you will find a small family business that is dedicated to breeding great- looking and athletic horses. Enjoy the natural landscape and the tranquility of the lagoon, by riding one of the wonderful Andalusian horses.

  Our town has its own airport, where the Aero Club of Messolonghi operates. Sky and cloud lovers, are given the opportunity of taking an aerial tour over the city of Messolongi, with a two-seater plane and the Aero Club pilots, in order to explore the beauties of our city from above.
