The residents of Bohori (as the village is widely known among locals call) are mostly engaged in agricultural work activities, cultivating the fertile plain of Evinohori principally with cotton. Furthermore, other crops preferred are corn and grapes, along with wheat and barley. Lately, many have engaged in growing citrus and olives, having even joined biological programs, given that the valley is very fertile.
There are several places of interest in Evinochori, not only of historical importance but from an entertainment aspect as well. The village has plenty of remarkable events and traditions that make every guest fall in love with this place, looking forward to visit it again.
The visitor is also given the opportunity to experience some unique moments, by watching or even taking part to the local customs and summer events organized by the local Associations.
In addition to these events, Evinochori has as well a football team along with a very modern football court. Great cultural boost has been given to Evinochori by his Associations: Folklore Association of "AGIOS IOANNIS", Cultural Association of "ANCIENT CALYDON" and the Horse Riding Club.
Excellent presentations have been given in various parts throughout Greece by its folklore dance Association of “AGIOS IOANNIS” as well as by its classes of Byzantine Music, Chess Learning, Musical Instruments Learning, Sports and Latin Dance.
In Evinochori the visitors can enjoy a coffee visiting the beautiful traditional and cozy cafes, can walk to the two beautiful squares of the village, taste delicious local flavors in taverns and snack bars and have a drink late in the evening at the local bars.
