The thousands of visitors of the Exhibition, are given the chance to become acquainted with the local products, while many local businesses- especially in the sector of production and processing of agricultural products- have the opportunity to present their products to the public.
Η τσικνοπέμπτη στο Μεσολόγγι αποτελεί ημέρα γιορτής, παράδοσης και γλεντιού.
Το έθιμο της ημέρας τηρείται στο έπακρο, αφού από νωρίς το μεσημέρι, στις γειτονιές και τους δρόμους της πόλης στήνονται υπαίθριες ψησταριές, που προσκαλούν τους περαστικούς για κέρασμα.
Η καλή παρέα, οι μεζέδες, το άφθονο κρασί, η μουσική και ο χορός έχουν την τιμητική τους, ενώ αποτελούν τα συστατικά, που συμβάλουν στο να κορυφωθεί για τα καλά το γλέντι στο κέντρο της πόλης, το οποίο βεβαίως συνεχίζεται μέχρι αργά το βράδυ.
